Friday 16th, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March 2018

PARC: Performing Arts Research Consortium, presents their inaugural event:

THE DIRECTOR AND DIGITAL SCENOGRAPHY

Theatre as a collaborative art has been adopting new media throughout its history. The need to implement cutting edge technological innovations into the theatrical event, where live human beings in complex interactions tell stories together about other human beings, opens new ways of expression and poses questions to be answered in every project where the director /scenographer articulates their vision. One of these questions is: does directing become a more collaborative experience in the digital age? We invite participants to bring their own questions to make the event really live. We shall be happy to share experiences and discuss them together, practitioners, academics and students.

Be part of the debate.
