We enter a generated cityscape run by computer systems, transverse a digital landscape and are pulled through it by subsonic, renegade sounds. Expect the often traceable and sometimes untraceable architecture of the digital. Luckily we’re guided by Microseq through this immersive environment as he performs his autonomous algorithmic systems. We’re honoured to present the official premiere as part of the AV & Music Programme.
Biography
Microseq, or Pandelis Diamantides, has been active at the intersection of electronic art music, electroacoustic composition and pop music and reinvented the media of electronic music production and aesthetics during his activities. Even though he is speaking the language of “pop” culture, he uses cutting-edge techniques for music composition and performance to approach a broader audience for spreading an artistic message.
